This is an annual music festival held in Blackpool.
There are normally about 15 bands involved playing in Stanley Park in the afternoon and from Summer Daze 4 onwards at West Coast in the evening.
The first Summer Daze was held in Ashton Gardens St Annes in 2004 but had to be moved owing to protests from local residents and the local church.
Summer Daze 2 onwards have been held at the bandstand in Stanley Park - on August bank holiday weekend.
There are a few reviews dotted around this site - and there have been over 100 bands that have taken part and most have been captured in the photo section.
Summer Daze is currently under threat from the local council - it would be a disaster for this to cease as it is such a great opportunity for young bands to reach a wider audience ,,,, watch this page and the local press for more details.
